Woodworking machinery typically includes high-speed rotating components, cutting tools, feeding systems, and electrical control systems. Proper operation and regular maintenance are essential not only for operator safety, but also for maintaining machining accuracy, production stability, and machine service life.
For edge banding machines, CNC routers, panel saws, four-side planers, woodworking drilling machines, and other equipment, the following checks are recommended before starting production.

Operators should make sure there are no obstacles around the machine and check whether the power supply, air supply, emergency stop devices, guards, and safety switches are working properly.
Key inspection points include:
During machining, operators should select suitable processing parameters, feeding speed, and cutting tools according to the machine manual.
Never reach into the cutting area while the machine is running. Safety guards and protection devices should never be removed or bypassed in order to increase production efficiency.
Woodworking processes generate a significant amount of sawdust and wood dust. After the machine is stopped, the worktable, feeding area, dust collection system, and other areas where debris may accumulate should be cleaned regularly.
Lubricated components should be serviced according to the maintenance schedule provided by the manufacturer.
Before cleaning, maintenance, or tool replacement, the relevant energy sources should be safely isolated and appropriate safety procedures should be followed.
Companies are encouraged to establish a maintenance schedule based on machine usage:
Daily Inspection → Weekly Maintenance → Monthly Inspection → Periodic Professional Service
For production lines operating for long periods, it is also useful to keep records of machine operating hours, faults, replacement of wear parts, and maintenance activities.

The actual production performance of woodworking machinery depends not only on the machine itself, but also on proper installation, operation, maintenance, and operator training.
As a professional woodworking machinery manufacturer, we recommend that customers consider machine safety, technical documentation, operator training, spare parts supply, and after-sales support when purchasing equipment.
